Aims of education sometimes become a huge questions to teenagers who are in the middle of choosing which schools to go to, which major they should take. Moreover, parents sometimes questions this topic regarding their decision for their kids to go to which school, which school have better curriculum and subjects, etc. This short article will help points out the Aims of Education to help teenagers, or parents, or whoever is having troubles concerning the aims of education itself.

I took the aims of education lecture from the University of Chicago in the year 2012. The lecturer was Martha Ross who is the Dean of the Humanities Division and Chauncey S. Boucher Distinguished Service Professor of Assyriology in the Oriental Institute, Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations and the College in the University of Chicago. She pointed out three main points about education that was pointed out by Alfred North Whitehead in his book “Aims of Education.
